Innocent Wonder

This photo was taken at a local Miracle League game.
This little girl was waiting for her turn to bat and she was just
so precious that I couldn't resist taking her photo. If you've never
been to a Miracle League game, you should go because these kids
(and some adults) are there truly for the fun of it
and a love for the game,
but I think mostly they are there for each other.
There's no bitter competitiveness, no bad attitudes,
no poor losers, no egotistical winners,
just innocence - enjoying a fun time together.
What an example they all are.

  1. As the mother of a little boy with a cleft lip and palate, I have a real place in my heart for photos of kids who "look different". I think we need to be seeing more of them as a society.

This is so beautiful; I just love it!
